Introduction to Spices/Herbs 香草藥介紹

Spices/herbs is not a new trend, it was found long long time ago, and was use extensively for many purpose, such as medicine, culinary, food flavoring, natural preservative, pest control, cosmetics, perfumery, religious rituals etc.

Some well-known example of herbs is Lavender, Rosemary, Basil, Mint, Lemongrass. Others was Sage, Stevia, Dill, Parsley etc.

Seeing the potential of spices/herbs, Grassroot Organic plan to start spices and herbs plantation onward. Anybody has any spices/herbs species or information that can share with us, do kindly inform us, we will be very appreciate it.

香草藥并不是一項新興的產業，他自古就被發掘，在各個范圍如醫療、烹飪、調味、防腐、薰香、驅蟲、沐浴、美容、宗教儀式等等被人廣泛應用。

一些廣為人知的香料為薰衣草（Lavender）、迷迭香（Rosemary)、九層塔（Basil)、薄荷（Mint）、香茅（Lemongrass)等等。其他香料還有鼠尾草（Sage）、甜菊（Stevia）、蒔蘿（Dill)、巴西利（Parsley)等等種類繁多。

有鑒于香草藥的普及化及其廣泛效用，草根現在也計劃加入香草藥種植行列。我們現在遍尋各地/各豪杰尋芳香草料的種，如有誰愿意與我們分享香草藥的種或資訊，可以聯絡我們，我們會感激不盡。我們現在手上有的種有鼠尾草、迷迭香、九層塔等等。
